Allie Rigby is a Bay Area poet with roots in the chaparral of southern California. Together, 21 of her poems are published in the 2019 anthology The Kerf Seeks, the desert literary magazine Cholla Needles, Adelaide Literary Magazine, Manzano Mountain Review, and UC Davis’ Open Ceilings.
Allie’s poems flicker between encounters with the wild, the tamed, and the awkward. She teaches environmental science and is an active member of Pen America. When not writing, Allie’s probably in a cafe reading essays by Roxane Gay.
