Dear Herders,

Thank you to all who supported the holiday fundraiser, where 100% of net proceeds from Creosote Press were set aside for donation. This 2021, we selected the Dolores Huerta Foundation, moved by their commitment to “inspire and organize communities to build volunteer organizations empowered to pursue social justice,” according to their mission statement. With your support, we raised $150 that went directly to supporting their vital services!

For now, please accept my screenshot of the donation confirmation. Each dollar from that $150 donation came from somebody who supported the art of letterpress (by your purchase) AND the Dolores Huerta Foundation (via the proceeds)—so, thank you!

Next year, when I summon the energy to do another fundraiser, I am hoping to keep the impact even more local by donating to an organization based solely in the San Francisco Bay Area. That said, I love all that the Dolores Huerta Foundation stands for, and Dolores Huerta herself continues to be a rocking badass whose lifelong work is important and can always use more support.
